In 1740, at the near start of Ginori's journey, one of these artists, the Florentine painter Ferdinando Campostrini, created the celebrated floral hatchings featuring Ji Ondori roosters. Elegant animals symbolize the virtue of boldness according to the oriental traditions the artist held dear. His sketches were expertly rendered as decorative designs for the iconic Vecchio Ginori line, giving life to the timeless Oro di Doccia Ginori gilded porcelain collection.
